What is Jeffrey?
Jeffrey is a new and unique housekeeping service for private households, which can be controlled via the innovative Jeffrey-app. Similar to a hotel, Jeffrey does not only clean your apartment but also offers various additional services.

Whether cleaning your bathroom, wiping the floor, watering flowers or making your bed: all services can be individually selected via the Jeffrey-app or web-app. You can even order groceries, pick-up and delivery of your dry cleaning or annoying errands, e.g. to the next post office, pharmacy or administration office. Moreover, you can order special wishes (e.g. the preparation before a dinner) or use the Jeffrey concierge services (e.g. for buying tickets for the opera or the next football game).

At Jeffrey, we only hire permanent employees who have successfully passed a multi-stage selection process. Thereby, we check (among other things) seriousness, motivation, and practical skills. Furthermore, every customer gets a constant Jeffrey so that a trustful relationship between customer and its Jeffrey can be established.

In which cities can I book Jeffrey?
Currently, you can book our service in Munich and the surrounding cities Starnberg and Grünwald. Though, we are working hard to offer Jeffrey in further German and international cities.

Is Jeffrey also available for commercial purposes?

Booking
How can I book my Jeffrey?
Basically, you have two options to book your personal Jeffrey: the Jeffrey-app for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) or the web-app for all common browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) and operating systems (e.g. Android).

The following steps are necessary for iOS devices:

✪ Download the Jeffrey-app in the App-Store.
✪ Register with your personal data.
✪ Subsequent to a successful registration, the subscription process begins allowing you to select your preferred subscription.
✪ After completion of the subscription process, our customer service will contact you as soon as possible in order to schedule your first service day. At the beginning of your first service day, one of our quality managers will present your Jeffrey and answer any questions.

✪ Simply use the Jeffrey-app for the following service days in order to control your Jeffrey by selecting your preferred services for any service day.

The booking process via Android devices or via web-app in any browser is equal to the process described above except for the download of the Jeffrey-app in the app store. Instead of an app download it is sufficient to click the “Book now” button in the header and subsequently follow the steps.

At which times and on what days can I book Jeffrey?
Our Jeffreys come to your home Mo-Sa, 8a.m.-8p.m.
Is it possible to book a male/female Jeffrey?
No, it is not possible to choose a Jeffrey by gender.
What are the next steps after booking?
After completion of the subscription process, our customer service will contact you as soon as possible in order to schedule your first service day. At the beginning of your first service day your Jeffrey and answer any questions. Afterwards your first service will be provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
All of our service packages have a minimal duration of one month and can be terminated afterwards within one week.

Does Jeffrey bring detergants for cleaning?
No, all detergants have to be on site. Though, in advance of the first service day we will tell you which detergants are usually necessary.

Does Jeffrey bring an electric iron and ironing board?
No, electric iron and ironing board have to be on site.
Billing
How does billing work?
We will send you a detailed bill three days after the end of a month via email. This bill can be sent to the tax office in order to get 20% of the billing amount back according to §35a EStG. More information are available here.
Is VAT included in all prices?
Yes, VAT is already included in all stated prices.
Is cash payment possible?
No, this is not possible.
How can I make use of the 20% tax benefit?
In general, it is in Germany possible to save up to 20% of your expenses for household sevices through a tax return based on §35a EStG. Therefore, you will receive every month a detailed Jeffrey bill comprising all details of your utilized services. Simply send your Jeffrey bills to the tax office together with your income tax statement. In this way, your income tax will be reduced and you get up to 20% of your Jeffrey billing amount back.
Warranty and Quality
What does the Jeffrey warranty include?
With our Jeffrey warranty we guarantee 100% customer satisfaction. We promise to solve occurring problems as soon as possible and to clarify potential misunderstandings.
How can I be sure that my Jeffrey is trustworthy?
At Jeffrey, we only hire permanent employees who have successfully passed a multi-stage selection process. Thereby, we check (among other things) seriousness, motivation, and practical skills. Furthermore, every customer gets a constant Jeffrey so that a trustful relationship between customer and its Jeffrey can be established.
Can I give my keys to Jeffrey?
Yes, this is possible. For that purpose we have a special and safe procedure. We will tell you more about it during the first service day. We'll charde as small fee of €10,00 for the transport, the ensurance as well as the management of your keys.
What happens in case of a damage?
All of our Jeffreys are fully covered by the Zurich insurance. In case of a damage during a service day, please contact our customer service (+49(0)89/33983849) and record the damage(s) with photos.
